How To Say NO To Exercise Excuses
Too tired, no time, bad weather & no childcare. These are 4
common
exercise excuses. How should we handle them? Don't worry, now we have
the 'magic words'
to overcome them.
1) Too tired.What a lot of people do not know is
that
regular exercise actually boosts energy. You are tired because you DO
NOT EXERCISE! Exercise will make you more healthy, thus you will be
more energetic!
2)
No time.
If you have time to watch television, then you actually have time to do
exercise also. Why not doing some exercises while watching television?
Try that and you will be amazed with the result! Our advice: schedule
and write down your workout plan in your daily planner or get up
earlier, let say 30 minutes early and enjoy that time with some
exercises.
3)
Bad weather.
You can easily overcome this excuse. One of the easiest way is to find
an indoor exercise. Got any idea? We suggest joining aerobic classes or
doing some workout in the gym. Or you can also invest in the right
clothing for such weather.
4)
No childcare. We
will surely face this excuse often. Our suggestion: try to exercise
with your kids, for example, put them in the basket during cycling or
if they are old enough, bring along their own bicycles. Or, why not
forming a babysitting co-op with your friends or neighbours and take
turn to exercise!
